Jennie Card


Jennie Card (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).  Jennie is passionate about providing a variety of therapeutic services to adolescents, adults and couples. She focuses on empowering clients to learn about themselves and achieve their goals.  Jennie is honest and will use tough love or be gentle based on your specific needs. She has been known to cuss and drops a few “F-bombs”. She creates a space to “sit” with feelings and experiences, help you process them, and support you in growing past those situations.   Jennie has worked in various settings including schools, community programs, in-home crisis intervention, and hospitals to support those in need of support. She has also worked extensively with individuals who have disabilities and those who are survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. She works to provide trauma-informed, strengths-based, and evidence-based services.

Specialties

Jennie’s specialties working with ages 15+ who struggle with trauma, anxiety, depression, family conflict, LGBTQIA+, and self-esteem. Jennie enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families. Jennie is nonjudgmental and LGBTQIA+ affirming.

Treatment Modalities

Jennie uses a variety of therapeutic modalities with her clients based on their individual needs. These modalities are trauma-informed and include (but not limited to) eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, strengths-based, and strengths-based therapy. She uses systems theory and humanistic person-centered theories to inform her work with clients.
