Mason Whipp

Mason Whipp (she/her) is a warm and accepting Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has 15 years of experience helping clients on their mental health journey.  Prior to working at Healing Circle Mason provided individual counseling to clients with a variety of mental health issues and managed an Intensive Outpatient Program for people with addictions.  She provides a calm and nurturing presence that allows clients to grow and gain coping skills and insight.

Mason understands the importance of a trusting therapeutic relationship and has always felt honored to be the person people feel they can talk to about their challenges in life.  She strives to create a nonjudgemental environment and enjoys using humor to balance how heavy therapy can sometimes feel.  She values helping people process trauma, navigate life transitions, shift behaviors and help clients significantly improve their quality of life.

Specialties

Mason works with adults 18 and up.  She specializes in treating clients who struggle with trauma, anxiety, bipolar disorder, difficulty in relationships and women’s issues.  She also enjoys working with clients adjusting to parenting as she has two young daughters at home.  Mason is LGBTQIA+ affirming.

Treatment Modalities

Mason has an eclectic approach to treatment modalities she uses and works with clients to find the approach that works best for them.  She always aims to have a holistic view a person’s experience and incorporates EMDR, DBT, CBT, mindfulness and strengths based perspectives.
