Meredith Williams


Meredith (she/her) is a recent graduate and is licensed as a Resident in Counseling. Caring for others, and supporting their growth has been her passion for most of her life. She was a teacher of young children for over 25 years. She has experience working with individuals, children, adolescents, and couples. She looks forward to using her experience in the classroom, and her knowledge of mental health services to help individuals, families, and their children. She is enthusiastic, with superb leadership and communication skills. She has a calm, warm demeanor and finds building rapport with people easy, and something she enjoys doing. She is familiar with treating clients who seek help for a variety of mental health conditions using a variety of different therapeutic approaches.

Meredith’s ideal clients are individuals that are motivated to make changes in their lives, and want to be active participants in creating and setting their treatment plan goals alongside the therapist. Meredith’s areas of expertise include adults, adolescents, and couples. She has worked with clients on women’s issues, depression, panic/anxiety, PTSD, grief/bereavement, emotional, physical & sexual abuse, trauma, stress management, relationship issues, life transitions, communication skill building and developing coping skills. She enjoys working with individuals and couples. Meredith is LGBTQIA+ affirming.

Meredith is a mother of two adult children, both of whom are in college.  In her spare time, Meredith enjoys ballroom dancing, reading, and  spending time with family and friends.

Meredith is being supervised by Cristal Lake-Sanders, LPC.
