Amanda Wray
Amanda Wray (she/her) is a certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with over 10 years of clinical experience, including community mental healthcare, and in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Virginia Commonwealth University. Combining her clinical expertise, diverse personal experiences, and compassionate nature, Amanda is dedicated to providing empathetic care and helping clients achieve realistic, meaningful treatment goals.
Amanda offers holistic care for adolescents, adults, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and those coping with substance use disorders, disordered behaviors, and acute or chronic mental illness. She is dedicated to providing integrative and equitable mental health care, focusing on the unique physical, emotional, and psychological needs of each client.
Specialties
Amanda provides medication management to individuals 16+ who experience depression, anxiety, trauma including acute stress and PTSD, substance misuse, or ADHD. She also has experience in offering safe and dignified care to those who identify as a part of the LGBTQIA+ community, addressing the unique and diverse needs of each individual client.

More about Amanda
In her spare time, Amanda spends time with her 2 teenage sons, 2 rescue dogs, her leopard gecko, and her loving husband. She volunteers with both her sons’ Scout Troop as the Committee Chair and with the 501c3 charity More Heart Than Scars. With the charity, she assists adaptive athletes in completing physical feats, such as mountain climbing or obstacle course racing. Amanda also loves spending time in nature, running, reading, and traveling.
