Ashley Morris


Ashely Morris (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 10 years of experience working with children and their families. Ashley has worked with individuals on the Autism spectrum who carry additional diagnoses of various psychiatric conditions coupled with extensive trauma histories. Her experience includes working with children and adolescents, adults, families, and couples. Ashley has an extensive history of working with multidisciplinary teams, including collaboration with speech/language pathology, occupational therapy, and psychiatry. Ashley has experience with psychiatric residential treatment, community-based services, crisis services, psychosocial assessments, treatment and behavior intervention planning, working with caregivers of individuals with complex mental and physical disabilities, and the special education system.

Ashley is a trauma informed therapist who provides compassionate care to those around her. She offers safety to those who need it. Ashley can be described as patient, open-minded, and empathetic. She has unconditional positive regard for her clients and meets them where they are. Ashley believes that all people want to do well and can do so with the right tools.

In her spare time, Ashley is an artist and explorer of nature. Ashley enjoys painting, creative writing, and scrapbooking. She is fond of all animals and frequently features them in her art. Ashley is passionate about using her art and writings to spread awareness for chronic and/or invisible illnesses. Ashley likes to hike with her husband, friends, and dog, Dexter. She also enjoys reading, yoga, true crime podcasts, and scary movies.
