Catherine Wagner

Catherine Wagner (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified EMDR therapist. She received her MS in Mental Health Counseling from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and her BA in Psychology from Bryn Mawr College.

Catherine specializes in PTSD, sexual assault counseling, depression, grief, relationships, dissociation, and attachment wounding. She has extensive experience working with survivors of trauma, including those impacted by sexual violence. Catherine also specializes in supporting those experiencing suicidal ideation and dissociation. She believes that advocacy and therapy are intrinsically aligned, and both are essential for healing. Catherine is dedicated to supporting marginalized communities and individuals who commonly experience stigma in therapy, including the LGBTQIA community and male survivors of trauma.

Catherine’s approach is collaborative, empowering, and authentic. She believes that healing happens when people feel seen, respected and supported as the experts of their own experience. Catherine aims to help clients build on or discover their innate strength and capacity for healing by fostering an environment of empowerment and safety in therapy. She believes it is an honor to support people as a therapist and help them bear witness to their potential for healing.
