Jessica Punter
Jessica (she/her) is a dedicated Supervisee in Social Work at The Healing Circle, currently pursuing licensure to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She works with individuals using a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centered approach, creating a safe and empowering space for clients to explore their challenges and growth. Jessica believes in meeting clients where they are and providing tailored support to help them navigate life’s difficulties. With multiple years of experience in the mental health field, Jessica has worked in residential crisis care, community mental health, and substance abuse treatment. She has managed an ASAM Level 3.1 Substance Abuse Program and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams in crisis and emergency services. While her primary focus has been on working with adults in both individual and group settings, she is passionate about supporting clients of all ages.
Jessica has always been passionate about helping others, believing that having just one supportive person can create a positive shift in someone’s life. She strives to be that person for her clients, offering compassion, authenticity, understanding, and empowerment. Her approach blends humor, tough love, and direct honesty, allowing clients to feel both supported and challenged in their growth.
Jessica understands that seeking therapy is a courageous step, and she is honored to walk alongside her clients as they navigate their path toward healing and self-discovery.

Jessica feels called to work with individuals, of all ages, navigating substance use and recovery, life transitions, anxiety, depression, stress management, resilience-building, PTSD, and trauma. She is passionate about creating a supportive and empowering space for clients as they work toward healing. Jessica is LGBTQIA affirming and believes that healing is not linear, encouraging clients to give themselves grace throughout their journey.

Jessica integrates strength-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered approaches in therapy, ensuring that treatment is individualized to each client’s unique needs. She draws from various therapeutic models, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solutions-Focused Therapy, psychoeducation, and mindfulness-based stress management techniques.
