Andrea Benton


Andrea Benton (she/her) received her MSW from Boston University and is pursuing her license to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Andrea utilizes a client-centered and trauma-informed approach to establish a trusting and caring therapeutic relationship. She focuses on creating a safe, empowering, and validating space to help clients gain self-awareness and achieve their goals. Andrea has experience working in healthcare, non-profit, and private practice settings, with in-depth experience working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. She has also worked extensively with service members, veterans, and military spouses.

Andrea enjoys working with ages 18+ dealing with depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, relationship issues, stress management, grief, parenting, and life transitions. Andrea is LGBTQIA+ affirming.

Treatment Modalities

Andrea uses an individualized approach with her clients, tailoring to each person’s needs. Modalities include strengths based, cognitive behavioral (CBT), mindfulness, psychodynamic, solution-focused, and dialectical behavior (DBT) therapies.
