Treatment Modalities

Writing and storytelling have always been part of Jodi’s journey. Narrative Therapy is a modality that is a natural fit for her work being present with others as they find ways to understand how the stories we tell about ourselves can shape our actions. We have the ability to retell our stories in ways that empower us and release us from outmoded behaviors and self-definitions. Jodi also finds Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and psychoeducation beneficial approaches. Mindfulness practice has been a part of Jodi’s own journey for over thirty-five years and she enjoys sharing the fruits of this work with others. Jodi is an LGBTQIA+ affirming clinician.
